The Inspiring Journey of Guangzhou Skytone Audio
In 2004, a group of audio enthusiasts opened a small store in Panyu, Guangzhou, selling and learning about stage audio equipment.
By 2009, the founder set up a Hong Kong company and began exploring foreign trade using free B2B platforms.
In 2011, Guangzhou Skytone Audio was founded in Baiyun District. They built an export team, started production, and joined a major B2B platform.
In 2012, they partnered in a friend's amplifier line. From 2014 onward, they attended Guangzhou audio shows every year. In 2015, they expanded on another B2B platform, growing steadily until 2019.
When the pandemic hit, exhibitions stopped and layoffs came, but the company stayed solvent and paid everyone. In 2020, they acquired a friend's struggling horn product line.
As the pandemic receded, 2023 to 2024 saw a strong return. Orders increased, and the brand rose again as a testament to resilience.
